When you have long meetings or lectures and write lots of notes, it can be difficult to find a particular phrase or a key information when reviewing them.
Noted offers a convenient Search feature to help you quickly locate a specific word(s) within a note and jump straight to where it is. Here’s how to use it:
- iOS
- macOS
1. Tap 🔍 Search icon on the Editor Toolbar.
2. Type in the word(s) you are looking for.
3. Use the ∨ and ∧ icons to navigate through the search results.
1. In notes view, bring up Search using the keyboard shortcut ⌘F.
2. Type in the word(s) you are looking for.
3. Use the > and < icons to navigate through the search results.
Replace Searched Word(s)
On Mac, you can also replace the searched word(s) with desired word(s):
- Follow the steps above to find the word(s) you want to replace.
- Tick the Replace box at the end of the search box.
- Type in the replacement word(s) in the additional field that appears below the search box.
You can click Replace one by one as you move and replace from one result to the next, or you can click All to replace all the results with the replacement word(s).
