The quickest way to capture great ideas and key information is to record an audio note. All you need to do is hit the Record button located along the top of your editor – that’s all. It literally takes one tap/click, and you can jot down notes while audio is recording!

How long can I record?

There is no limit to how long you can record, though this will depend on your device storage.

Ensure you have sufficient iCloud storage if you plan on syncing your recordings to other devices.

You can reduce the recording quality of audio to minimise the space it takes up. Note that this only applies to new notes.

Location Awareness Recording (iOS)

Have you ever started recording in a conference room or a lecture hall, then forget to stop recording when you leave the room? With Location awareness recording, that will never happen.

Noted can detect when you leave the location where you are recording a note and send you a notification to remind you that you’re still recording.

How to Enable Location Awareness Recording

Settings > Notifications > Toggle on ‘Location awareness recording’

Can I continue recording after I’ve stopped?

Of course, you can! Simply switch to Record mode by tapping/clicking the red circle on the left of the Playback button, then tap/click Resume to carry on recording.
