Are you ready to revolutionize your note-taking process and save valuable time? We thought so! Let’s dive into how Noted’s Dictation feature can be your secret weapon for faster, more concise notes.
Why Dictation?
We all know that our thoughts often flow faster than our typing skills. That’s precisely why Noted’s Dictation feature is a game-changer. It allows you to effortlessly convert your spoken words into text in real-time. No more frantic typing, just seamless note-taking.
How to Get Started:
- Open a new note in Noted.
- Look for the microphone icon (🎙️) on the Editor toolbar – that’s your gateway to Dictation.
- Hit the microphone icon, and start speaking into your device. That’s it! Noted will take care of the rest.
Converting Audio to Text:
But that’s not all! You can also use Dictation to convert audio recordings to text on iOS. Here’s how:
- Create a new note.
- Tap the soundwave+ icon next to the Record button.
- Import your audio file into the note.
- Activate Dictation and play the audio. Watch as Noted turns spoken words into written text.
Please note that while Dictation is impressive, it works best when you use your own voice. The results may not be as accurate when transcribing audio files.

- English (multiple variations)
- Spanish (various dialects)
